The circular route of the Camino Natural de Castejón de Monegros leads to the Castillo de Castejón de Monegros. After crossing the HU-831 road, the trail runs southwards along a shaded path to the Ermita de Santa Ana. From the Fuente de Arriba, there is also a path intended exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists that runs between fields to the spring and the underground Acueducto La Madre.

Culture and history
The Castillo de Castejón de Monegros was built in the 13th century; its earliest mention dates from 1211. It displays clear Gothic forms. Despite its conversion into a hermitage, the façade and towers have remained almost unchanged. The Ermita de Santa Ana was built at the beginning of the 16th century.
The portico of the Iglesia de Santa María de la Lumbre features Gothic arches. In the 14th century, the Jurado and the Concejo de Castellón met in the portico of Santa María to hold deliberations. The Dance-de-Pastorada tradition of Castejón de Monegros is considered a tradition performed exclusively by women. In 1593, Castejón de Monegros was granted permission to hold fairs.
Festivals and townscape
Castejón de Monegros celebrates festivals in honour of San Fabián and San Sebastián on 20 January, as well as the feast days of Santiago and Santa Ana on 25 and 26 July. Every year on 8 May, a pilgrimage takes place to the Ermita de San Miguel in Jubierre.
During the celebration of Santa Ana, the saint is carried on people's shoulders to the Ermita de Santa Ana; the procession is accompanied by a traditional Dance. Brick façades recur throughout the streets of Castejón de Monegros. There are also numerous examples of vernacular architecture and manor houses, such as the houses of Buil, el Tendero and Ferrer.
Landscape and routes
Jubierre is located in the immediate surroundings of Castejón de Monegros. Jubierre is catalogued as a Lugar de Interés Geológico because of a network of ravines and characteristic landforms created by severe erosion. In Jubierre, there are routes that visitors can travel by mountain bike, car or on horseback and that are suitable for hiking according to the signposted or mapped itineraries.
