History

The Château du Boisset burned down in the 14th century. The hamlet of Le Boisset was abandoned and resettled in the 15th century.

Culture

The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Le Boisset dates from the 17th century. It has an asymmetrically positioned bell tower and a hexagonal apse. The church contains a gilded wooden statue of John the Baptist and two side altars made of marble.

The Fête du Boisset is a traditional festival. The Bread Festival in Le Boisset takes place every year on 1 May; visitors can watch the entire process, from preparing the dough to baking.
