Mormoiron is an old fortified village built on a limestone hill in the Middle Ages. In the historic village, winding lanes and Provençal soustets shape the townscape.
Culture and History
The Musée de Mormoiron is part of the municipal Centre Culturel and is open to the public. The Eglise Saint Laurent dates back to the 12th century and was restored in the 17th and 18th centuries. It has a Romanesque apse with an unusual window that was discovered during restoration work in 1974.
