Taillades: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Taillades lies at the foot of the western end of the Luberon. Two rocky viewpoints above the village offer views over the Luberon from the Cavaillon plain to Mont Ventoux.

The Colline de Pied Caud route is an easy 5.5-kilometre circular hike with 123 metres of ascent and 123 metres of descent; walking time is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. The hike on the Colline de Pied Caud offers views of the Petit Luberon and the Durance Valley.
In addition, Taillades has an extensive network of paths and trails for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking.
Village and history
The old village of Taillades preserves La Tour, a remnant of a fortification. In the historic centre, the higher part of the village is home to an 18th-century church. At the entrance to the Vieux Village stands a rock sculpture called “Morvellous”, dating from the 14th or 15th century.
Culture and events
The Théâtre des Carrières is located in a former quarry in the village of Taillades, which has now been transformed into an unusual cultural venue. The theatre hosts a variety of performances every summer.
The Moulin Saint-Pierre was built around 1860 and initially served as a factory for madder powder until approximately 1875, after which it became a grain mill. For several years, cultural events, including theatre and music, have been held in its courtyard during the summer.
The Moulin Saint-Pierre cannot be visited regularly and is accessible only on the occasion of events.
Market and how to get there
The Marché des producteurs des Taillades is a weekly market run by producers and food artisans. From April to the end of October, it takes place at the Moulin; from November to the end of March, it is held on the Place de la Mairie.
Taillades can be reached via the D143 and D2 roads.
