Olšovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Olšovice features a well-preserved village landscape and is connected by two cycling routes: Cycle Route 1089 leads via Němčice and Mahouš to Olšovice; Cycle Route 1081 runs along the Hluboká nad Vltavou–Netolice route through Olšovice.

Culture and village landscape

Several original farmsteads have been preserved on the village square in Olšovice. There is also a chapel there that is a listed monument. Farmstead No. 28 towards Mahouš is likewise a listed monument and a Blata-style building dating from 1853. The pear tree on the road to Netolice continues to bear fruit.

In the wider regional surroundings of Olšovice lies Chlumany, an ancient site.

Cycling routes

The regional combination of cycling and culture includes the approximately 25 km circular cycling tour “Na Zbudovská blata za selským barokem”. Part of this circular cycling tour runs along the educational cycle route “Historická krajina Netolicko”.

Mount Mužský is located in the immediate surroundings of Olšovice. The hill Na Štumpíru [Hlavatce u Českých Budějovic] is also nearby. The mountains Skalka and Vrata are also located in the surroundings of Olšovice.
