Radhostice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Cycle Route No. 1249 runs through Radhostice and Libotyně from Vlachovo Březí to Mlák. Cycle Route No. 1075 from Protivín to Vimperk runs through Lštění, a locality belonging to the municipality of Radhostice.

Culture

Radhostice is home to a registered inn with residential and agricultural sections, listed under ÚSKP registration number 29893/3-3738. Radhostice also has a registered niche chapel with ÚSKP registration number 22090/3-3740.

The niche chapel opposite House No. 23 in Radhostice is considered a valuable example of folk Baroque. It has an unusual triangular shape with niches on each side.

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Radhostice was probably built by Jakub Bursa in 1842, as indicated by the year on its portal. It is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic under number 39319/3-3739.

History

The Chapel of Saint Adalbert, also called Dobrá Voda, stands in the Lštění locality east of the church above a spring and was rebuilt in 1725.

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the Lštění locality is a four-sided chapel from the first half of the 18th century. It has a cross vault, a painted winged altar and a statue of Saint Barbara.

The Pilgrimage Church of Saint Adalbert in the Lštění locality of the municipality of Radhostice was built from 1739 to 1741 according to plans by Antonín Erhart Martinelli. Historically, pilgrims travelled to this pilgrimage church four times a year: on Easter Monday, 23 April, Whit Monday and 15 August.
