Educational Trail and Culture

The Víceměřice Educational Trail is 4.5 km long and has six stations. One information board provides information about the Kratiny archaeological site, while another, the fifth information board on the Víceměřice Educational Trail, presents the animal and plant life found in the Svodnice. Kratiny is a La Tène-period open settlement and a production and distribution centre of supraregional importance.

The Chapel of St Florian can be visited by prior arrangement as part of a tour lasting approximately 30 minutes. Víceměřice Chateau developed from a Renaissance fortress dating from the 16th century. The Museum of Life in Víceměřice documents life from the 1930s to the 1990s and contains more than 3,000 larger and smaller everyday objects. The Víceměřice Museum also has an exhibition on the history of the individual houses in Víceměřice.

Balls and other cultural events are regularly held in Víceměřice, organised by local associations in cooperation with the municipal office. The “Trip to the Sights and Nature of the Prostějovsko Region” cycling route also passes through Víceměřice.

Landscape and Views

The Kozlov Lookout is located on Kozlov Hill above Víceměřice at an elevation of 251 metres above sea level. The Kozlov Lookout offers a view towards the Hostýnské vrchy hills.

Předina Hill is located in the vicinity of Víceměřice, as is Chlum Hill. In the wider regional surroundings of Víceměřice are the “Statue of St John of Nepomuk” monument, the “Monument to the Victims of the First World War” monument, Hrádek Ruins, Hradisko Hill, Kuchlov Ruins and Horka Hill.
