Pavlovice U Kojetína: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Pavlovice u Kojetína is located in a hilly landscape on the southeastern edge of the Tištínská pahorkatina. The village is home to the Baroque Church of St. Andrew, built in 1727, which is the most significant immovable cultural monument in Pavlovice u Kojetína.

Culture and history

The Church of St. Andrew stands on a hill and is accessible via stairs. In front of the entrance gate to the grounds stands a statue of St. Andrew. It dates from the second third of the 18th century, was restored in 1811, and is an immovable cultural monument.

On the road to Mořice, the statue of St. Francis of Assisi stands in front of house no. 109. It dates from the mid-18th century and is also an immovable cultural monument. The statue Pietà stands at the crossroads on the way to Unčice.

The bell tower is an immovable cultural monument; the Klekání bells are rung there regularly. Pavlovice u Kojetína is first mentioned in written sources in 1329, in the byname of the Vladika Mikuláš z Pavlovic. During Masopust, participants went from house to house with a bear; they also danced and sang and ate typical carnival dishes.

Landscape and paths

Háječek has a new shelter with seating and a view. In the vicinity of Pavlovice u Kojetína, the municipality's excursion guide recommends the Morkovice–Nezamyslice cycle path for cycling trips and walks.

Leisure

Annual fishing competitions for the youngest participants take place at Vaňák Pond. The local outdoor swimming pool is used for swimming in summer and serves as an ice-skating rink in winter.
