The Festa Major de Sant Pere was recognized as a Festa Patrimonial d’Interès Nacional in 2010 and is celebrated on 29 June. The Festes de Misericòrdia are Reus’s second major festival; they are celebrated on 25 September and are based on the tradition of the apparition of the Mare de Déu de Misericòrdia to Isabel Besora in 1592. The Santuari de Misericòrdia is a Renaissance building whose interior is decorated with frescoes by Josep Franquet, Joaquim Juncosa and Joan Juncosa. The Capella de l’Aparició next to the Santuari marks the exact location of the apparition of the Mare de Déu de Misericòrdia.

The Gaudí Centre Reus is an interpretation centre about the life and work of the architect Antoni Gaudí. The Gaudí Centre uses interactive displays to explain the principles of Gaudí’s architecture and Modernisme in general. The centre includes a 1,200 m² exhibition area. The Ruta del Modernisme Reus passes almost 80 catalogued Modernisme buildings, most of which can be experienced on a walk. In front of every façade there is a plaque stating the name of the architectural monument, the architect and the year it was built. The Ruta Gaudí leads to places connected with Gaudí’s childhood. History

The Institut Pere Mata is one of the outstanding works of European Modernisme. The Pavelló dels Distingits at the Institut Pere Mata is catalogued as a Bé Cultural d’Interès Nacional. Casa Navàs is one of the finest examples of European Modernisme due to its state of preservation. Guided tours of Casa Navàs last one hour and are accompanied by specialized guides. The Església Prioral de Sant Pere is a Late Gothic church built in the 15th century over a Romanesque church and consecrated in 1569. The architect Antoni Gaudí was baptized in the Església Prioral de Sant Pere.
