Culture

The cultural history begins with El Calvari, a Proto-Iberian or protohistoric open-air archaeological site. It was inhabited from the 8th to the 6th century BC and is located approximately 800 m from the present-day town of El Molar. Mina Lussa (also Loussa) - Linda Mariquita is an interpretation centre dedicated to education and healthcare during the Spanish Civil War. The Església de Sant Roc is also part of the town's cultural identity. It was built in 1788 and has a rectangular floor plan, three naves and a polygonal apse.

Landscape

The municipal route network makes it possible to explore El Molar on foot, by bicycle or in a motor vehicle. The programme includes dances, leisure activities for children, Correfocs and floats. The Festa de les Xiques takes place from 6 to 8 December. It is an old, centuries-old festival tradition that was revived in 1992 and combines Coques with Jota dances.
