Llesp: Sant Martí de Llesp, Pantà de Llesp and trails

Sant Martí de Llesp, a 12th-century church, stands in Llesp.

Culture

The present-day Sant Martí de Llesp church was built using materials from the former Romanesque church; part of the northern façade and the portal from this older building have been preserved.

The Sant Martí de Llesp church has three naves; each of the two side naves has three chapels.

The Sarreres descent route begins in Llesp; from there, the trail leads back to the starting point of the route.

On les 2 Nogueres, arriving in Llesp, the subsequent ascent along the Camí de l’Aigua, and continuing north to the road to Iran and Irgo are part of the same route sequence described above. The physical effort is considerable, while the route remains technically easy; only a short section requires dismounting. Sarreres follows a different route: it begins in Llesp and leads back to the starting point.
