Sant Sadurní d'Osormort: Culture, Nature and Trails

Sant Ponç de la Verneda has been documented since 1050. The present-day building of Sant Ponç de la Verneda was constructed in the 17th century. The apse of Sant Sadurní d'Osormort contains wall paintings. Their creator is known as the Master of Osormort.

Culture and History

Jaume Masferrer was born in 1598. His birthplace was the large Masferrer farmhouse in Sant Sadurní d'Osormort. Masia Masferrer dates from the 17th century. Ceramic remains can be found on Puig Castellar. They belong to an ancient Iberian settlement. Pont de la Cantina is located in Sant Sadurní d'Osormort.
