Sant Martí de Tous: Castle, Festivals and Trails
Castell de Tous has been documented since 960 and features a keep crowned with battlements. Castell de Tous can be regarded as a late-medieval Gothic-style castle; its renovation in the 14th century largely gave it its present appearance.
Other linked places include Montmeló, La Pobla De Lillet, Moia, Vilanova De Sau, Font-rubí, Sallent, La Garriga and Viladecans.
Culture
The Centre Moral was inaugurated on 11 November 1910 as a building with a food cooperative on the ground floor and a café-theatre on the first floor. In the parish church of Sant Martí de Tous, a new building was erected in 1892 over the former Gothic church; remains of the older building have survived there, including a double-arched window with multilobed pointed arches and the bell tower staircase.
Santa Maria de la Roqueta de Fiol is documented as early as 1079. A Romanesque carving from the 12th century is venerated at the Santuari de Sentfores. Carrer de les Voltes consists of two covered sections formed by round arches and later-constructed buildings. The street is protected as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest (BCIL).
Sant Martí de Tous has an extensive heritage of dry-stone structures. These include huts, walls, cisterns, wells and ditches; there are also water channels, a fountain and the remains of ovens. The Festival de Llegendes de Catalunya aims to preserve, disseminate and raise awareness of Catalan folk legends.
The Festa Major de Tous takes place on the second weekend of November around the feast day of Saint Martin on 11 November. The Aplec de Sentfores takes place on Easter Monday and includes Sardana dancing and skittles games. Caramelles take place on Easter Sunday. The Ball de Faixes is performed every year during the Festa Major and at other special events.
Nature
La Fou is a waterfall of geomorphological, hydrological and palaeontological interest. There are numerous rock overhangs and caves in the area around La Fou, including the Cova del Diable.

The second route can be followed by car and bicycle as far as the turn-off to the Aubareda farm. The Serra de Miralles-Queralt can be explored via a network of tracks and paths with several routes.
The Caminada Popular takes place every year on the second Sunday in May and generally follows paths and trails for around 10 kilometres. Tous és Llegenda is an audio-guide tour that can be used on a mobile device without prior reservation.
