Cala Gració is one of the small coves in the immediate vicinity of Sant Antoni. The cove is characterised by transparent water, fine white sand, a pine forest and rocky areas on both sides.

Coast and nature

Cala Gració is surrounded by juniper and pine trees. Several traditional boathouses stand on one shore and form part of the cove’s distinctive appearance. Nearby Cala Gracioneta also has its own character: it lies behind a rocky headland and is smaller and narrower than Cala Gració.

Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta feature sandy seabeds, rocks and areas of Posidonia seagrass. Thus, different coastal and marine structures come together in both coves, without the smaller Cala Gracioneta losing its distinctive shape behind the larger cove.

Water

The sheltered cove makes Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta suitable for snorkelling and exploring the seabed. Activities such as fishing and scuba diving are also possible at Cala Gració. From Sant Antoni, Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta can be reached by a short walk or by bus; the distance is approximately 2 km.

Culture

The cultural setting of the coast includes the Cap Blanc Aquarium, also popularly known as “Sa cova de ses llagostes”. The site was traditionally used as a lobster breeding tank and was converted into an aquarium in 1989.

Hiking

The coastal hiking route in the Cala Gració area leads from Caló des Moro to Cala Gració and the smaller Cala Gracioneta. It is 6.2 km long, reaches a highest point of 175 m above sea level and has a medium difficulty level.
