Sant Antoni De Portmany can be explored via specific routes, coastal areas, natural sites and cultural attractions. The coastal hiking route in the Cala Gració area begins and ends in Caló des Moro (Sant Antoni), is 6.2 km long and has a moderate difficulty level.

On the way

The Paseo Marítimo de Sant Antoni stretches for several kilometres from Es Caló des Moro to the beaches of s’Arenal and Es Pouet. From the centre of Sant Antoni, visitors can experience a large part of the bay on foot or by bicycle along the Paseo Marítimo. There are numerous areas for rest, leisure and entertainment along the route, including children’s playgrounds and restaurants.

Nature

The Cap Blanc Aquarium is located in a natural cave that has been converted into an aquarium. In a 300 m² lake, visitors can observe native marine species of Ibiza. The aquarium is part of the CREM network for the restoration of marine species. It also conducts educational activities and contributes to the training of university students through internships.

In the wider surrounding region, the Els Amunts natural area stretches from Cap Nunó near Sant Antoni de Portmany to the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja.

Culture

At the Espacio Cultural Sa Punta des Molí, the complex includes a restored mill, a waterwheel and a traditional house that has been converted into a modern exhibition space. It also contains a restored traditional trull with the original machinery used to crush and press olives to extract oil.

The Faro de ses Coves Blanques is now an exhibition centre operated by the municipal council of Sant Antoni de Portmany. Following extensive restoration and modernisation, the lighthouse was reopened to the public as a sociocultural centre in 2010.

The Cova de ses Fontanelles is a cave in a rocky cliff 50 metres above sea level. It contains rock paintings dating from around 1000 BC.
