Culture

For summer 2026, Can Planetes had been announced as closed due to improvement works.

Can Ros also preserves a piece of traditional built heritage. The original layout and design of the house have been retained; an additional oil press was added later. Together with the collection at the Sala Barrau and the rural ensemble of Can Planetes, this creates a cultural section featuring different themes and types of buildings.

Coast

Playa Santa Eulària connects its three beaches via the modern seafront promenade. Boats depart from the harbour at Playa Santa Eulària for excursions along the coast of Ibiza. At Playa Santa Eulària, the beach landscape combines with views of the coast from the water.

At Cala Martina, a diving school organises dives to the surrounding islets, which are rich in sea caves. Cala Martina is also visited by people who enjoy water sports such as dinghy sailing, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking.

Getting around

Santa Eulària Des Riu can be reached from Ibiza Town by road and by public transport. There is a short and enjoyable cycling tour available: it is 17 km long and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Because of its surface and the limited incline, it is suitable for both mountain bikes and road bikes.
