The Roman Catholic Church in Trstice was built in 1903–1904. Trstice is located in the central part of the Danubian Lowland.

Churches and Monuments

The Roman Catholic Church in Trstice replaced a church dating from 1717. Its organ dates from 1904 and was made by the workshop of the Riegler brothers in Budapest. In the church park in Trstice stands a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which was handed over in May 2003.

The Heroes' Monument in Trstice commemorates the heroes of the 1848 uprising as well as the soldiers who fell in the First and Second World Wars. The Holy Trinity Monument dates from 1825 and was reconstructed in 1925. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk is considered the oldest statue in Trstice and dates from the mid-18th century.

On the outskirts of Trstice stands a statue of Saint Vendelin, the patron saint of shepherds. The statue of Saint Vendelin was probably erected in the 19th century and is made of sandstone. The statue of Saint Elisabeth was originally erected in 1924 and is currently located in front of the Health and Social Centre of Trstice.

The Malom Mozi cinema is located in Cultural Centre 472 in Trstice. In Nádszeg, the manor house known as Bencze House was built in 1929, renovated and put into public service. The exhibition “Te az enyém, én a tied” recalls wedding customs from the past 200 years.

The 12th Szent-István Days were announced for 21–23 August 2026 in Nádszeg, beneath the tree canopy. At the event “Hogy ízlik Európa? – Traditional Sweets from Europe”, European desserts as well as strudels prepared by residents of Nádszeg were sampled.
