Mobility

The Sankta Maria II ferry provides access from Oberbillig to nearby Wasserbillig in Luxembourg and is used by residents, commuters, and tourists. It is the only way to cross the river by car between Trier and Wellen. The Sankta Maria II is also described as the world's first fully electric car ferry on inland waterways.

The second stage of the Moselle Cycle Route reaches Oberbillig via Wellen and Temmels. The route follows the village street from Oberbillig to the ferry and continues at the edge of the village along a narrow cycle path beside the river toward Wasserliesch.
