The Parish Church of St. Lawrence was built in 1771, probably according to plans by Johannes Seiz. Its uniform interior dates from the period when the church was built. The Roman Villa Urbana can be visited on foot from the town centre. It includes a reconstructed bathhouse with a changing room, heated pool, steam bath and cold bath.

Hiking and Nature

The Longuicher Sauerbrunnen Moselle Trail side route is approximately 12.7 km long and leads through a varied wine-growing and cultural landscape. The trail includes a biotope with unique vegetation and rare animals. The Longuicher Sauerbrunnen is a spring fed by the Devonian strata of the Hochwald, producing highly carbonated mineral water with a high iron content. On 28 May 2014, the trail received the German Hiking Seal.

Cycling

Many cycle paths are described as convenient and well signposted. The cycle paths are also described as having virtually no gradients and as being suitable for families and all generations. Bicycle buses and trains make it possible to combine routes and overcome differences in elevation on many stretches. The Roman Wine Route mountain-bike network is more than 200 km long; five mountain-bike routes are designated in the area of the Roman Wine Route.

Longuich's local wine culture is connected with vineyards on the steep slate slopes of the Maximiner Herrenberg. Wine tastings, celebrations and meals are part of the visitor experience.
