Reinsfeld: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Wadrill Valley nature reserve between Felsenmühle and Grimburg covers approximately 213 hectares.
Cycling
More than 90 percent of the Ruwer-Hochwald Cycle Path runs along the former route of the Ruwer Railway. A 6.3-kilometre section leads between Hermeskeil and Reinsfeld. The cycle path is described as family-friendly and includes an adventure playground in Reinsfeld.
The RegioRadler Ruwer-Hochwald bicycle bus connects Reinsfeld along the route between the Moselle Valley and Türkismühle and transports up to 22 bicycles.
History
Reinsfeld was first recorded in 981 under the name “Reionis campus”. The patronage of Saint Remigius in Reinsfeld is connected with an old parish tradition; the village was already recorded as a parish in 1330.

The Frau Holle car park is located on the Hunsrück Heights Road near Reinsfeld. The Bürger & Tourist-Information Reinsfeld handles rentals of the local heritage association’s barbecue hut. From May to October, rentals are arranged through the information centre; during the winter months, they are arranged by telephone.
