Landscape

The Nordschleife lies in the heart of the Eifel region. It is 20.8 kilometres long, has 73 curves and an elevation difference of 300 metres.

Activities

Nürburgring tourist drives are offered on the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit. Visitors can take part by car or motorcycle. The Nordschleife was completed in 1927.

Culture

There is a cross dating from 1772 on the main road. South of Meuspath, on the K 20, the Krebsbacher Hof is listed as a historic monument ensemble. It comprises a solid building that probably dates from the 16th century, a Baroque chapel from 1702 and a moat.

Meuspath and the associated Krebsbacher Hof have an independent local history that is closely linked to Nürburg. The name of the village is traditionally derived from “Muspach”, interpreted as meaning “settlement by a marsh stream”.
