Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Trierscheid can then continue searching for accommodation. A 24-kilometre circular tour leads from Trierscheid via Nohn, Borler and Bodenbach and takes a little over five hours. The St. Antonius Chapel and the paths through the surrounding landscape are also among the specifically named features of the village.
Landscape
Trierscheid is situated on a hill bordered by the Trierbach, the Nohner Bach and the An der Kehr valley.
Culture
The St. Antonius Chapel in Trierscheid dates from 1884. Its benches, made around 1765, were reused from the former chapel. A late Gothic window with tracery in the form of a trefoil also comes from the former chapel. A stone altar slab found during the 1964 renovation continues to serve its original purpose. The portal's shallow-arched surround was also reused from an earlier chapel.
Hiking
The Trierscheid–Nohn–Borler–Bodenbach circular tour is 24 kilometres long and takes a little over five hours. Some sections are unpaved and may be muddy. The car park for the circular tour is on the southern edge of Trierscheid. The route crosses the Nohner Bach and continues along Route 16 before reaching Nohn.
Cycling
A cycle connection from Trierscheid to Nohn follows farm tracks through the Kehr into the Nohner Bachtal, crosses the stream and continues via a fully paved farm track across the heath towards Nohn. The Trierscheid–Nohn section also includes the HBR-signposted Adenau–Hillesheim Regional Supplementary Route.
