Nature

The Forêt régionale des Vallières lies between the Marne and agricultural land, above underground galleries of former gypsum quarries. Due to its ornithological significance, it lies entirely within the «Les boucles de la Marne» Natura 2000 site under the Birds Directive and serves as a refuge for numerous bat species.

The Plan d'eau de la boucle de Jablines area includes the municipality of Annet-sur-Marne. The waters of the Boucles de Jablines and de Trilbardou are important for numerous waterbirds.

Those who choose Annet-sur-Marne for their stay may wish to rent a holiday apartment.

The church of Annet-sur-Marne was rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century and restored again in 1819. The restored church of Annet-sur-Marne contains an engraved stone.

The former fief of Château d'Etry was built in the 18th century by the architect PERRONET and contains preserved fittings from that period, including wood panelling, fireplace slabs, a wrought-iron balcony and a free-standing dovecote.

Château de Sannois, formerly the manor house of one of the most important fiefs, was rebuilt in the 19th century; possibly only part of the original building remains. Access to the outbuildings of Château de Sannois is through a gatehouse with a dovecote.

The Pont sur la Marne was rebuilt after its destruction in the First World War and reconstructed again in 1949 after the last war. It spans the river with a single arch and was among the first bridges to use prestressed concrete.
