A notable landmark in Chamigny is the Church of Saint-Étienne, including its crypt. It was listed as a protected French historic monument on 6 February 1981. The Notre-Dame de la Cave crypt beneath the church had already been classified as a historic monument in 1845. Its sixteen columns are connected by shallow pointed arches and divide the space into three aisles.

Tanqueux is a historic hamlet that contributes to Chamigny's landscape and cultural heritage. The Château de Tanqueux is said to have been built around 1760 according to plans by the architect Saget des Louvières, in an extensive park overlooking the Marne. The Musée paysan et Jardin d'Arums presents a collection of 1,200 items, including old agricultural tools and materials from rural life. The Jardin d'Arums is located beside water-filled ditches near a former 13th-century manor house and can be visited after seeing the Musée paysan.

Nature

On the Île du Saussoy, the gradual closing off of a former branch of the Marne created a backwater wetland that supports diverse biodiversity. The Île du Saussoy can be reached on foot or by bicycle along the banks of the Marne near the SNCF bridge between Chamigny and Vaux; public access is limited and possible only during occasional openings.

The Bois de la Bergette combines wooded slopes, meadows, and riverside areas along the Marne into a diverse natural area suitable for walks and discovering biodiversity. The ENS Bois de la Bergette includes the ruins of the Château de la Bergette and is connected to La Ferté-sous-Jouarre and Chamigny. The old ruins of the Château de la Bergette serve as a wintering site for bats.

La Ferté-sous-Jouarre station is located a few kilometres from the municipality and is the main access point to public transport in the Chamigny area. It is served by line P of the Transilien network and by TER-Fluo trains.
