Saint-Martin-du-Boschet: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The Église Saint-Martin towers above the village of Saint-Martin-du-Boschet. The oldest parts of the church, including the crossing and the choir, appear to date from the 13th century. Parts of the vaulting in its nave were altered in the 15th century. The choir features wood panelling; it also contains a statue of Saint Veronica.

Some of the furnishings of the Église Saint-Martin dating from the 16th and 18th centuries are protected as movable heritage of a historic monument. Other religious buildings in the village include the Chapelle Saint-Marcoul de Baleine, a church in Saint-Martin-du-Boschet. The washhouses (lavoirs) of Saint-Martin-du-Boschet have also been restored.
