Culture and history

The Château de Laleuf in Saint-Maur is listed as a historic monument. The present-day Château de Laleuf dates from 1761. The Château des Planches is a 19th-century château; the park of the Château des Planches opens onto the Vallée d’Ebbes. The Église Saint-Laurent in Villers-les-Ormes was rebuilt on the foundations of an older building. The origins of this older building may date back to the time of the Capetians.
