Faverolles reveals its special features in very different forms. The Yellow Circular Route of Faverolles is 16 km long.
Church and History
The nave of the Église Notre-Dame dates from the 11th and 12th centuries. The Église Notre-Dame was listed as a historic monument on 9 August 1930. It was formerly dependent on the Benedictine Abbey of Villeloin in Touraine. The Verrière de l'église Notre-Dame depicts Saint Francis de Sales and Saint Vincent. It is located on the south wall of the nave, in window opening 5.
Further Traces
The tuff quarries of Faverolles are reminiscent of caves, troglodytic dwellings and open-pit extraction. The bust of Benjamin Rabier was created from a self-caricature and is a work by Marie Charlotte Taillandier. Benjamin Rabier is buried in the Faverolles cemetery.
