Priziac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lac du Bel Air covers 54 hectares and is classified as a Natura 2000 site. It is also a starting point for circular hiking trails. The Circuit du lac du Bel Air is an easy, yellow-marked circular hiking trail covering 7 kilometres; it takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Nature

The lake combines a protected landscape with a clearly signposted circular trail. Lac du Bel Air is also the starting point for further circular hiking trails.

Water

The Base nautique du lac du Bel Air offers courses where you can learn or improve your sailing or kayaking skills. The courses last 3 to 4 days and each include two-hour sessions. At the Base de loisirs du Lac du Bel Air, it is also possible to go on pedal boat, paddleboard and canoe trips.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Nicolas is mainly a 16th-century building and contains a bell wheel. Its rood screen was commissioned around 1566, painted in 1580 and repainted in 1768.

The Maison Montlouis is a remarkable building dating from the end of the 16th century and is listed in the inventory of historic monuments. In the 17th century, it served as the courtroom of the Seigneurie du Dréors. The Auditoire de justice in Maison Montlouis is not regularly open to the public, but can occasionally be visited as part of guided tours.

The present-day building of the Chapelle Saint-Yves was built in 1881 by the sculptor Lebrun from Lorient for C. A. S. Harrington.

Throughout the Year

Les Vendredis du Lac is a recurring evening summer market. It takes place every Friday in July and August from 5:30 p.m., with numerous exhibitors and associations from Priziac.
