Sur les chemins du Dragon can be undertaken by bicycle or car; the route is also possible on foot, although there is no marked trail. Another route is VP 15 – Boucle canal – voie verte: the 19 km circular route has a stated duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. It runs from the former La Chapelle-Caro railway station along the Nantes-Brest Canal and the Voie verte between Questembert and Mauron.

Culture

The Notre-Dame Church replaced a 17th-century chapel in 1868; the chapel had been restored and extended in 1711. The Chapelle Saint-Méen dates essentially from the 17th century and reuses two architectural elements from the 15th century: a pointed-arch portal on the south wall and a bricked-up window. The rectangular building has a single nave and a northern transept arm, separated from the nave by a round arch.

The Dolmen de la Maison trouée, also called Dolmen de la Pierre trouée, is located near Ville du Voyer in the former territory of La Chapelle-Caro. It consists of a single slab split in the middle and resting on side slabs. At Château du Crévy, the eastern keep and the isolated corner tower in the northwest date from the 14th or 15th century. The fortress of Château du Crévy played an important role during the Wars of Religion.

Nature

The remarkable yew tree at Notre-Dame Church is one of the oldest trees in Morbihan. It was probably planted in the 14th century and has a circumference of more than 7 metres.

Atelier Terre Précieuse is a boutique in La Chapelle-Caro where Alice Urien and Olivier Ruaud showcase ceramics made using the Raku technique and other unique pieces. Visitors can discover their craftsmanship there.
