Nature and Trails

The Circuit du Four à Pain is an easy, 8 km walking route with a walking time of approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes. It passes through wooded areas, along streams, through agricultural landscapes and a village, and alongside a chapel. The Circuit du Govéro is a 13 km hiking trail of moderate difficulty, with a walking time of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, through the natural areas of Monterblanc.

Activities and Water

Airplane Nature is an adventure park in Monterblanc with four different areas and courses suitable for different age groups and levels of experience. The Grande Tyro course includes six challenges, including a 120 m-long zip line at a height of 15 m. At the Plan d’eau du Govéro, the pond of Monterblanc features a family area with a playground, boules court, picnic tables and an open-air theatre.

Sacred Heritage

The Église Saint-Pierre dates from the 18th century. Its organs date from 1853 and were faithfully reconstructed in 1993. The Chapelle Notre-Dame, also known as the Chapelle de Mangolérian, dates from 1460. The Fontaine Saint-Pierre dates from the 17th century, as does the Calvary cross of the Chapelle de Mangolérian.

Aviation and Cuisine

The Morbihan Aéro Musée presents its collections in three historic hangars built in 1940–1941 by the Luftwaffe for Heinkel 111 bombers. Hangar 3 features an exhibition on the conquest of space with Apollo 11, Saturn V, Ariane and a model of the US Space Shuttle Columbia. Hangar 4 documents the history of aviation and Vannes airfield from 1909 to the present day. The culinary area, L’Aérocook, welcomes visitors and organises cooking workshops.
