Guégon: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Guégon, traces of sacred architectural history date back to the Middle Ages: the nave of the Église Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul dates from the 12th century, while the crossing dates from the 13th century. The Église Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul was classified as a historic monument by decree of 5 October 1965.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Mélec in Trégranteur also dates from the 16th century. Its ground plan is shaped like a Latin cross, and its portal features Flamboyant Gothic decoration. The Chapelle Saint-Gildas in Guégon was built in the 18th century and destroyed and rebuilt around 1955.

Nature

The Base de loisirs du Rouvray covers more than three hectares. Its gravel paths are frequented by ducks and birds; a footbridge at the recreation centre leads to the opposite bank of the canalised Oust and offers views across the valley.

The Base de loisirs du Rouvray can be reached via the D 764 or via the Caradec activity zone on the RN24. It serves as a training centre for kayakers. Benches and picnic tables are located along the paths, and there is a barbecue at the entrance.
