Plumergat: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Plumergat can be explored through the town centre along the “Les trois clochers” circular route. The route connects the town’s three distinctive church towers: Saint-Thuriau Church, the Chapelle de la Trinité and the Chapelle Saint-Servais.

Hiking and cycling

Plumergat has two hiking trails and one cycle route that are accessible to everyone. The “Les trois clochers” hiking trail is 8 km long, accessible to everyone and takes around two hours. The cycling version of the same route is 17 km long. Plumergat is also part of the “Pays d'art et d'histoire d'Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique”.

Culture and history

The Romanesque elements of Saint-Thuriau Church date from the 12th century. In front of the church stands a stele from the 1st century bearing an inscription in the Gaulish language. The cornices and roof beams of the Chapelle de la Trinité feature numerous sculptures depicting plants, animals and fantastical figures.

The Chapelle Saint-Servais is listed in its entirety as a historic monument; it was listed by decree on 31 July 2015. The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Gornévec was built in the shape of a Latin cross. It dates from the 11th century, was rebuilt in the 15th century and was completely restored in the 1990s.

Nearby, the Vallon du Léran route follows a wooded path along the Léran River. The Vallon du Léran route also begins nearby, at the village square in Mériadec.
