TRO GREGAM is a circular route through the green belt around the town centre and the countryside south of Grand-Champ, designated as a “Promenade et Randonnée” (PR) by the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre. The route is suitable for horse riding, hiking and cycling.

Nature

The preserved bocage landscape of Grand-Champ offers hikers an environment in which they can discover numerous local cultural treasures. An Equibreizh loop connects Grand-Champ and Locmaria-Grand-Champ, among other places, and is intended for horse riders.

Culture

The Chapelle Sainte-Brigitte in Loperhet dates from the 16th century and is listed as a historic monument. The Chapelle Saint-Eloi in Lopabu dates from the late 15th century. Today, Saint Eligius, considered the patron saint of horses and blacksmiths, is honoured there. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Fleurs in Moustoir des Fleurs also dates from the late 15th century and features a stained-glass window created by Pierre Toulhoat in 1958. The Chapelle Saint-Yves is located at 16 rue Saint-Yves in Grand-Champ.

The pardon pilgrimage ceremony at the Chapelle Sainte-Brigitte takes place on the third Sunday in September. During the pardon pilgrimage ceremony at the Chapelle Saint-Eloi on the second Sunday in July, horses and motorcycles are blessed.

Local

La Flogatine is a fruit farm in Grand-Champ where the public can pick their own fruit. La Flogatine also offers fresh seasonal produce and artisanally processed products from the farm.
