Cléguérec: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Cléguérec combines nature trails, historic religious buildings and local events with specific recreational sites by the water. A section of the Guernic adventure trail crosses a wetland on a footbridge and leads to Parc Plijadur. A section of the Stations Vertes cycling route passes through Cléguérec.

Nature and Activities

At Étang du Pontoir, there is a fitness trail and an archery range; fishing is also possible there. In the town centre, Mini-Golf de Cléguérec has 12 holes and is free of charge.

Culture and History

The Chapelle de la Trinité dates largely from the first half of the 16th century; it includes a devotional fountain. The Chapelle Saint-André also dates largely from the first half of the 16th century and has been listed as a historic monument by decree of 12 September 1977.

The Chapelle Saint-Molvan houses a 4th-century sarcophagus and was rebuilt in 1693. Construction of the Église Saint-Guérec began in 1843, and it was consecrated in 1864.

The Allée couverte de Bot-er-Mohet is one of the largest dolmen galleries in Morbihan. A crevice in the rock at the Allée couverte de Bot-er-Mohet led to the discovery of pottery shards and two vessels.

Local Life

The Festival de Kleg project, run by the En Arwen association, has been rooted in Cléguérec for nearly 40 years. The Festival de Kleg is a three-day event featuring a fest-noz, concerts and hybrid programme items. The market in Cléguérec takes place at Place Pobéguin on the first Saturday of every month.

Regional bus route TIM 14 serves Cléguérec on the route between Pontivy and Guémené-sur-Scorff.
