Beignon: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Beignon is the starting point for the 7 km-long hiking trail Circuit de Lancelot (n°80).

Nature and Trails

The Circuit de Lancelot (n°80) runs along the Aff Valley, is considered easy and takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Jardin des Affolettes, a stopping point, is located along the circuit. The Rocher Glissant is also located along the circuit and is considered a place where visitors can slide down the rock. The trail is not permitted during the hunting season from 15 September to 31 March.

The Aff Valley connects the Forest of Brocéliande with the heathlands of Coëtquidan. On the opposite side of the valley are the distinctive rocky outcrops of Casse-Cou.

Culture and History

The Saint-Pierre parish church in Beignon features construction and decorative work from the second quarter of the 16th century. The beams of the nave bear the year 1539, while a choir window bears the year 1540. On the Boucle de la vallée de l’Aff (n°4), visitors can discover Beignon and its local slate-stone architecture.

The Dolmen de Roherman dit „Niche à Gabineau“ and the Tombeau du Géant are historic sites in the area surrounding Beignon. The Hotié de Viviane, also a historic site, is likewise located nearby. The Camp de Coëquidan is a fort in the immediate vicinity of Beignon.
