Pluneret: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The ENS Landes du Téno covers 25 hectares of coastal wet heathland, wet meadows and woodland, and is home to rare and threatened biodiversity. It is open to the public and can be visited independently; facilities include a car park, paths, a wooden footbridge, a viewing point and information panels.
Nature
Pluneret is surrounded by the two coastal rivers Auray to the west and Bono to the east. They meet at Kerisper and flow into the Gulf of Morbihan. The tidal mudflats along Pluneret’s coastal rivers provide shelter for numerous birds.
Paths through the countryside
Le tour du Bourg is a route in Pluneret for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. The easy Vallon du Léran circular trail passes through sunken lanes and follows the River Léran through the countryside and villages of Mériadec; along the way are a washhouse, a calvary and several springs.
The boat cemetery can be reached via the coastal path, which begins at the Vieux pont and leads towards the Sainte-Avoye chapel.
Culture and History
The Sainte-Avoye chapel is a Renaissance chapel south of Pluneret on the banks of the Sal. The rood screen of the Saint-Avoye chapel bears twelve carved figures on the altar side of its gallery; on the side facing the nave are statuettes of the twelve Apostles.
The Croix percée is located near Sainte-Anne station in Pluneret and was placed under protection by decree of 19 July 1937.
Sainte-Anne station is one of only two railway stations in France with a statue on its roof; it is the only one of the two with a religious statue. Following the inauguration of the railway on 20 September 1862, Sainte-Anne station benefited from significant pilgrim traffic, which often required the provision of special trains.

Pluneret can be reached by train via Sainte-Anne station from Vannes or Auray.
