Erdeven has almost 8 kilometres of coastline, where wild dunes, fine sand and the ocean meet.

Coast and Nature

At Plage de Kerhillio, land sailing, surfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding are possible. Plage de Kerouriec is bordered by protected dunes and is suitable for hiking, photography, and observing coastal fauna and flora. Plage de Kerminihy is a protected site and is suitable for nature walks accompanied by an activity leader.

Trails and Cycle Routes

The Sentier de l’Océan is an easy, 4-kilometre walking route that takes about one hour and connects the centre of Erdeven with the coast. The Sentier de la Roche Sèche is an easy circular route measuring 5 kilometres in length, with a duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, leading through paths and rural landscapes.

The Sentier des Mégalithes is an easy, 12-kilometre route along which you can discover Erdeven’s megalithic monuments. La Littorale, designated as the Voie verte V45 Greenway, provides a safe cycling connection from Erdeven towards Quiberon or Étel. Parc de Kéravéon has shaded paths and a fitness trail of approximately 1.5 kilometres.

Culture and History

The largest menhirs at Kerzerho are known as the “Géants de Kerzerho”; they are approximately 6 metres high and weigh around 40 tonnes. The Fête des oignons and the Festival des chapelles are listed as community events in Erdeven.
