Port-Navalo: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Port-Navalo lies at the tip of the Arzon peninsula and combines a fine sandy beach with a panoramic promenade. This runs from the south-facing beach to the picturesque north-facing harbour.

Coast

Near Port-Navalo beach there are parking spaces, a lifeguard station, picnic tables, restaurants, beach clubs and a playground.

Culture

The Phare de Port-Navalo, also known as the Phare d'Arzon, consists of two smooth cylindrical masonry towers on a structure with visible stone quoins. The lighthouse's main construction campaigns took place in 1840 and 1894.

The Criée de Port-Navalo offers a varied programme of cultural and arts-and-crafts events all year round, with exhibitions, artist residencies and an arts-and-crafts market. Every two years, the Criée de Port-Navalo is also the main venue for the Semaine du Golfe. It can be visited before departing for Belle-Île-en-Mer or on a cruise in the Golfe du Morbihan.

Water

In the port of Port-Navalo, five maritime transport companies offer cruises on the Golfe du Morbihan, with or without stopovers. From Port-Navalo, cruises can be taken to Île aux Moines, Île d'Arz, Gavrinis and along the Rivière d'Auray.

Paths

The Le Petit Mousse trail follows the coastal path from Port-Navalo to the entrance of the Golfe du Morbihan. It passes Port-Sable beach and leads to the Tombe du Petit Mousse.

Events

The Grandes Régates de Port-Navalo preserve an event tradition that has existed for more than 130 years, featuring traditional boats, Belle Plaisance, modern yachting sports regattas and festive activities centred around Morbihan's maritime and cultural heritage.
