Saint-Pol-De-Léon: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Saint-Pol-de-Léon combines historic architecture with the coast. The former Saint-Paul-Aurélien Cathedral was rebuilt from the 13th to the 16th century.

Culture and History

The Maison Prébendale was built around 1530 in the Breton Renaissance style; four to five art exhibitions are held there each season.

The Manoir de Keroulas was built around 1520 from granite and has a polygonal stair tower. It offers cultural activities, including embroidery workshops and exhibitions, and the preservation of traditional costumes by the Bleuniadur ensemble.

The Dolmen de Kerangouez is a Neolithic burial chamber dating from around 5000 BC. It has been classified as a historic monument since 1909.

The Saboterie de Léon is recognized as a Living Heritage Craft; the craftsperson there traditionally makes wooden and leather shoes.

Légumes Project is a visitor and information centre in Saint-Pol-de-Léon dedicated entirely to vegetables and fruit. It offers fun, interactive cultural tours for school groups and families, conveying knowledge of soil science as well as the historical and current economic context.

Coast and Nature

The GR34 long-distance hiking trail, also known as the Sentier des Douaniers, runs along the coast of Saint-Pol-de-Léon. The Bay of Saint-Pol-de-Léon is also home to a protected area for seabirds.
