Clohars-Fouesnant: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Clohars-Fouesnant, the Saint-Hilaire church, the cemetery and the former calvary form an ensemble protected as a historic monument. The oldest eastern part of the church was probably built at the beginning of the 15th century. In addition, the Musik Europa Breizh association organizes a concert series there every year featuring Baroque music, historical instruments, singing, and forgotten or rediscovered repertoires.

Culture and History

The Notre-Dame du Drennec chapel was built at the end of the 19th century and contains architectural elements from an older 16th-century building. It borders a remarkable spring with a calvary and a Pietà in a niche. The chapel grounds have been recognized as a bird sanctuary since 2018.

The main construction phase of the Château de Cheffontaines dates back to the 18th century. Bodigneau was largely demolished to obtain granite for the construction of today’s Château de Cheffontaines. The château is partly listed as a historic monument and partly classified as a historic monument.

Landscape and Activities

The Golf de l’Odet is located in the territory of Clohars-Fouesnant and Bénodet. It covers 130 hectares and includes an 18-hole course created in 1986, lined with traditional Breton hedges and wooded with oak and pine trees.

The City Golf de Bénodet in Clohars-Fouesnant offers an 18-hole city golf course accessible from the age of four. The course uses local and natural materials, relief modeled on real greens, and obstacles inspired by large golf courses, creating an immersive city-golf experience.
