Primelin: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Primelin, coastal landscapes, sacred buildings and evidence of rural heritage come together. The village is part of the Grand Site de France Pointe du Raz en Cap-Sizun.

Sacred buildings and feast days

The Chapelle Saint Tugen was built between 1535 and 1582 and classified as a historic monument on 23 July 1909. The present-day Église Saint Primel dates from 1773 to 1776; its Baroque bell tower bears the date 1776, and the church’s Pardon is celebrated on the first Sunday in August. The Chapelle Saint Théodore dates from 1672; its Pardon takes place on the third Sunday in September. The Chapelle Saint Chrysanthe was built around a spring in 1856; its Pardon is celebrated on the Sunday before Ascension Day.

Coast and rural heritage

The Port du Loc’h is a sheltered harbour in the Anse du Loc’h, appreciated by walkers, recreational boaters and lovers of maritime landscapes. The GR®34 coastal path runs above the harbour.

The Moulin de Kerhas is one of the last still-visible windmills in Primelin and was built in 1828. The Manoir de Lézurec has been listed as a historic monument since 1932 for its façades and roofs and can be seen from the surrounding paths. The Fontaine et lavoir de Kerhas Biz date from the 18th century; they are evidence of Primelin’s rural heritage.
