Saint Evarzec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Menhir de Kerhuel in Saint-Évarzec is an ancient cultural heritage site and a testimony to prehistoric times.

Culture and history

The Eglise Saint-Primel has a nave with five bays, side aisles and a flat-ended choir. The Fontaine Saint-Primel feeds a long, narrow washbasin.

The Chapelle du Dréau houses a 17th-century altarpiece and is dedicated to Saint Andrew and Saint Eligius. The veneration of Saint Philibert is very old in Saint-Évarzec and is probably considered an inheritance from the Templars, who held this saint in high esteem. The reliquary is nail-shaped and bears a raised crucifix together with the inscription “De sancto clavo”.

Nature and trails

Le Bois du Moustoir is a natural area with deciduous and coniferous woodland and includes a pond used by anglers. The Le Dourmeur circular trail passes by the Chapelle Saint-Philibert, dating from 1870.

Activities

The Poney Club de Lanvéron offers half-hour horseback rides on its grounds for children aged three and over.

Local production

Sentier des arômes produces certified organic plants in Saint-Évarzec for perfumery, cooking and medicine. At the Ferme d'Enez Raden, bread is made from wheat and rye grown on the farm and sold there.
