Irvillac can be explored through its historic religious buildings and roadside markers, which reveal architectural styles, dates, and connections to present-day routes.

Culture

The Église Saint-Pierre was largely built in the 17th century; its construction is associated with the year 1656. Its entrance portal is designed in the Renaissance style and has two coupled round-arched doors. The ossuary bears the date 1692 and temporarily served as a chapel under the name Notre-Dame-de-la-Délivrance. It contains statues of Saint Anne and Saint Joachim. By decree of 25 February 1928, the Église Saint-Pierre was listed as a historic monument.

The historic architectural heritage also includes the Fontaine de Reun ar Gaouen in Irvillac, a granite structure dating from the 17th century, as well as the Calvaire de Croas Lidou. The latter dates from 1640 and is attributed to the sculptor Roland Doré.

Routes

The Calvaire de Traonevezec is one of nine wayside crosses along the “KERINOT-MALANTY-GOASVEN” route. Today, it is a waypoint on the GR34 and also a waypoint on a cycling route currently under development.

Landscape

The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Lorette stands on a terrace overlooking the hamlet of Coat-Nant. The chapel bears construction inscriptions with the years 1629 and 1634.
