Treffiagat: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Treffiagat, the Menhir de Lehan stands in a pond. The Neolithic megalith dates from around 3000 BC, is 8.50 m high, is protected as a historic monument, and was listed as a historic monument on 6 March 1923.

Culture and History

The Menhir du Reun is 6 m high and 6 m wide and is classified as a historic monument. The site du Reun is a megalithic complex with the remains of a destroyed tumulus, as well as prehistoric engravings and cup marks on the rocks.

The Chapelle Saint-Fiacre dates from the 16th century, is designed in the flamboyant Gothic style, and has been restored several times. The panelled ceiling inside resembles the hull of a ship. An underground stream feeds the spring dating from the 15th century at the chapel's chancel wall.

Nature and Landscape

At the Étang de Lehan, there are grey herons, a birdwatching station, and an educational trail. The dune strip of Treffiagat can be explored on foot via the GR34, the Sentier des Douaniers.

In the vicinity of Treffiagat are Plage de la Torche and Plage de Kermabec; both geographical features are classified as beaches. Also nearby are Île Garo and Île Queffen, geographical features that are each classified as islands.

By the Water

The marina at Port de Léchiagat has just under 298 mooring berths, a pontoon for short stays, and services for water sports enthusiasts.
