A 10 km-long Balade à Lanrivoaré is a walking route for exploring the local landscape.
Landscape
The green paths of Lanrivoaré make it possible to walk through the surrounding landscape. Some walking paths in Lanrivoaré run along the Aber Ildut and the Frouden.
Horse-riding route
Circuit no. 4 Lanrivoaré/Tréouergat is one of six maintained and signposted horse-riding routes offered by Pays d’Iroise Communauté.
History and architecture
The Eremitage de Saint-Hervé has been classified as a Monument historique since 1 July 1975. It consists of the ruins of a chapel, a sacred spring, and a stone hut that tradition holds was the saint’s cell.
The Église Saint-Rivoaré has a cruciform layout. The engraved stele in the Cimetière des Saints dates from the Second Iron Age. Seven large pebbles are lined up at the Cimetière des Saints; one of them is clearly larger than the others.
On site
You can reach the Cimetière des Saints from the large car park via the municipal cemetery of Lanrivoaré. There is a large car park in front of the enclosed area of the Église Saint-Rivoaré, where you can park. To reach the Eremitage de Saint-Hervé, follow the path for 400 m on foot to the calvary.
