The first recorded mention of Vlásenice-Drbohlavy dates back to 1386. The second part of the name, “Drbohlavy”, was only added in the second half of the 16th century; from 1386 to 1580, the estate and the village belonged to the Božejov estate.
Nature
The Hejlovka stream flows through Vlásenice-Drbohlavy. Mount Troják is located in the immediate vicinity. The mountains Orlov, Bělský Kopec and Hluboká are also located in the surrounding area.
Culture
In the past, a regular gathering of former residents and friends of the municipality was held in Vlásenice-Drbohlavy. The bell tower in Drbohlavy was built in 1986 and bears the inscription “I tobě jednou zazvoním”.
The watermill at house number 14 stands by Mlýnský Pond in Vlásenice-Drbohlavy. It had a single wooden overshot waterwheel with two rims, a diameter of 4.14 m and a clear width of 73 cm. It powered a Czech millstone and two stampers.
