Písečné: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Písečné lies in a valley where numerous springs form a stream that flows into the Vír Reservoir. Marked hiking trails run through the village. The „Bystřickem za vůní kávy“ hiking route follows a green-marked trail to Písečné and then continues to Kříb Mountain.

Culture and History
The Na Bojisku pond is associated with a local legend according to which it was full of blood after a battle during the Swedish Wars. An iron cross on the village square in Písečné dates from 1863. First Lieutenant Václav Jílek was born in Písečné; he was a military pilot and took part in the Battle of Britain.
Motorsport
Motocross races are regularly held at the Písečská Zmole venue. Construction of the Písečská Zmole motocross track began in 1959; Miroslav Hakl initiated the construction that year. The first race of the regional motocross championship at Písečská Zmole took place in 1962. Later, races of the Motocross World Championship were also held at Písečská Zmole.
