Pavlínov combines distinctive landmarks that shape the character of the village with bodies of water, paths, and a varied surrounding area. The regional long-distance cycle route Jeseník–Znojmo, section 103 Kadov–Třebíč, runs through the area of Pavlínov. At the same time, the village square, chapels, and the remains of the fortress preserve traces of history.

Nature and Paths

The Pohořílský potok stream flows through Pavlínov; several ponds are located near the built-up area. They are used mainly for recreation and fish farming. The Mládkov pond is also home to a recreational area with a holiday settlement in the area of Pavlínov. A marked blue hiking trail reaches the southern edge of the area of Pavlínov.

On the village square, the chapel is a significant architectural landmark in Pavlínov. The upper chapel stands at the crossroads towards Kamenice and adds another distinctive feature to the characteristic village character.

History

Only the remains and cellars of Pavlínov Fortress survive at a depth of 1.5 m.
