Bystřice Nad Pernštejnem: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Since 1960, the Bystřice nad Pernštejnem Town Museum has been located on the market square in the building of the former town hall, a former burgher’s house and a former brewery. The town museum also features the exhibition “Uranium in the Vysočina – Mining in the Bystřicko Region”.
Culture and History
As a museum exhibition near the winter stadium in the Lužánky district of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, Bystřický Park of Miniatures recreates the Svratka Valley with around twenty models of castles, monasteries and other architectural monuments at a scale of 1:50.
The origins of the Church of St Lawrence in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem date back to the 13th century; the originally Romanesque building was later remodelled in the Gothic style. The church acquired its present Baroque appearance during renovations towards the end of the 17th century. Its interior contains Baroque and Rococo woodcarvings, altars and a pulpit.
Experiences
The Horácká village in Centrum EDEN comprises seven buildings that are replicas of structures from the 19th century. The potato festivals at Centrum EDEN are accompanied by farmers’ markets.
At Farma koutek, visitors can feed, pet and photograph farm animals and get close to them. The Areál sportu a kultury complex includes a sports hall, a fitness room, a swimming pool and a climbing wall.
