In Bělá, visitors can observe traditional glassmaking at Huť Anna. Huť Anna has a showroom shop where glass products can be purchased. Exclusive glass pieces are produced in small batches at Huť Anna.

Culture and History

Guided tours of Huť Jakub Tasice present the history of the site, as well as the techniques of glassmaking and glass grinding.

The monument to the fallen soldiers of Bělá was ceremonially unveiled on 5 June 1921. Nearby Ledeč Castle offers guided tours of the castle rooms and museum, as well as access to the castle tower.

The “Historie českého sklářství” route is a 9.2 km circular trail for children. At Tasice, it leads to a historic glass-melting furnace; in Bělá, it includes a small furnace where glass products are occasionally made.

The 19.2 km “Putování po vodních plochách” trail for adults leads to Tasický rybník, Nový rybník and Katlov. The Tasice bus stop is located in front of the entrance to the glassworks car park.
